Erecting Eskom sideThe use of fly ash in South Africa started in the late 1970’s. It has since been embraced and utilized extensively. Once South Africa democratized in 1994, the country experienced a long term growth in the economy. The demand for cement and fly ash exceeded the supply from 2003.

Due to the sole supplier's inability to keep up with market demand for fly ash, Eskom recognized the need for alternative suppliers. This created the opportunity for ULULA ASH to secure a long term agreement for the right to the fly ash from Kriel Power Station.

The employees of ULULA ASH have many years of experience with fly ash and the utilization thereof.

ULULA ASH is committed to supply a consistent, good quality fly ash at competitive prices.
